T has been sick this week. That means that we've been home together. (No school, no babysitting co-op). We've been doing a lot of coloring, reading, playing, and puzzles. The puzzles get done, and re-done, over, and over. But we only put together this world map puzzle once this week. He's done it before, yes, and with his love of animals, he can find and say "Africa." But as we were putting it together this time, he stunned me as he laid the piece containing Madegascar and pointed, stating "Madegascar!" Wowza! Is my boy a smartie or what!! (Ok, so he does love the Madegascar films, but really, I'm not sure I've ever pointed it out on the map. Maybe his smart sister taught him that, but when?) (And no, he doesn't exactly say all 4 syllables, but his alliterastion of the word is effective enough, I'm sure you'd recognize that's exactly what he said!)
